At THCSD we all take part in achieving our goal:
"To Provide Safe Access to Patient's in the Back-Country"!
We feel like it's time for you to meet our staff. T.H.C.S.D is an equal opportunity employer, and a mixed bi-zillion racial Corp. We reserve the right to refuse service based on the length of your nails.
Meet the Staff...
ROCKY (aka BUBBA)
HEAD OF SECURITY
Meet Bubba. He's a 6 year old American Pit-Bull. He came to THCSD through very unfortunate circumstances. But, in the true Pit form...he is "adjusting". Destine to be adopted out, Bubba signed up as a Collective/Volunteer to "help" out where he can around here.
Bubba enjoys long naps and especially likes it when its time to "Work". Bubba enjoys a cup of coffee in the Zen garden each morning with his Grandma where they sit and solve the world's problems.Take a moment to meet Bubba, and share any safety concerns you may have however, APPROACH WITH CAUTION, HE IS THE HEAD OF SECURITY FOR A REASON!!
UPDATE: Shit got real around here, and Bubba's not going anywhere...how many times can a guy get dumped?
THE GIRLS and ROMEO
(Left to right) Petunia, Violet, Daisy and Romeo
This busy crew get up with the sun and get it started around here! Busy laying eggs for the Collective Medibles, the three girls spend the day hanging around, eating bugs and enjoying a little fresh lettuce. The highlight of their day is when the mealworm treats arrive...
And then there is Romeo....
He pretty much does nothing!
UPDATE: I arrived home today (4/10) to find Romeo dead. I'm gonna miss the little guy...rest in peace Romeo.
Lola came to THCSD in a very similar manner as Bubba - She was dumped here and abondoned! Again, much like Bubba, she stepped up to volunteer to help out around here. Lola is our Travel Manager and is responsible for Flight arrangements.
She enjoys spending her day eating an assortment of treats and nuts and has a real fondness for RAW HEMP SEEDS! She can be found singing to her neighboring feathered friends throughout the day!
UPDATE: Lola waited 3 years for him to come back for her...when he didn't, she went on with her life!
She is enjoying a new beginning in OB -
where all the cool parrots hang out!
We miss her, but wish her all the best!
Shirley came to THCSD through the Border Collie Rescue 5 years ago. She comes to us with endless energy and wit! She is the attendant to all, and offers support and encouragement 7/24/365! She is happy to "sample" our medibles, even when she's NOT invited too! Her primary responsiblitiy is to over-see the daily operations and to be sure that all the other staff and volunteers are safe and doing what they have been assigned. Shi-Shi, in true Border Collie fashion is the BOSS and doesn't have a problem reminding you, should you feel a need to forget. Feel free to say hi and see what the taskmaster has for you to do!
(aka - Itty-Bitty)
Chloe is a rescue kitty that came to THCSD through the adoption process! She is the personal assistant to Shirley, and can be found, usually AFTER the sun goes down! She enjoys lying around and "hunting" her stuffed furry toys! Chloe is there for you when you knead her the most, preforming CPR in the true "Kitty Dough" style.
CAUTION: THIS FELINE WILL DECIDE WHO/WHAT/WHERE - DO NOT TRY TO DECIDE FOR HER!
She is, afterall a Princess!
